https://github.com/matrix-org/synapse/tree/develop/docs/systemd-with-workers talks about a federation_reader worker, but nothing like that is mentioned at https://github.com/matrix-org/synapse/blob/develop/docs/workers.md. I think the docs have got out of sync.
