v3.12.0 seems to ignore .editorconfig file #1173
Description
I use this config:

indent_size = 2
indent_style = space
insert_final_newline = true

trim_trailing_whitespace = true

indent_style = tab
[*.{sh,bash,bats}]
indent_size = 4
This used to work correctly for *.sh, *.bash, etc files, but with v3.12.0 it seems to get ignored and I have to specify -i 4 explicitly to get 4 space indent instead of using tabs.
