Clicking on a style variation in the Style Book resets to the full overview instead of isolating the element #70447

Description

In the Style Book, clicking on an individual element (e.g., Paragraph or Button) correctly isolates that element for focused styling. However, when clicking on one of the style variations listed under that element, the view unexpectedly resets to the full Style Book overview instead of narrowing down to just that variation.

This breaks the expected UX flow and makes it difficult to focus on specific variations.

Step-by-step reproduction instructions

  1. Open the Site Editor in a block theme that defines style variations (e.g., Twenty Twenty-Four).
  2. Open the Style Book from the Styles panel.
  3. Click on an individual block like Button — the view correctly focuses on just that block.
  4. Now click on one of the style variations listed for that block.
  5. The full list of all blocks reappears, instead of keeping the focus on the selected variation.
