What problem does this address?

When you are editing a page or post in the block editor, there is an option to change the template.
If a site has many block templates, it can be difficult to find the template you are looking for in the modal.
For my use case, I have 25 page templates, and the result in the modal is not paged, not searchable, and not filterable.

Create a new page.
Open the settings sidebar.
Select the Page tab.
Click on the text next to "Template".
In the popover, select "Change template".
A modal with previews of the templates show.

What is your proposed solution?

Add a search to the template selection modal.
Or find a way to reuse some of the data view features inside the modal.
