Description
In WordPress 6.3 Beta, setting a link to open in a new tab is a bad experience, it takes too many clicks.
In the current WordPress, two clicks are enough, in the beta version it takes 5 clicks. This is much more annoying and makes editing less productive. Why add this complexity? Please leave it simple as it is, it's much better.
Another advantage in the current version is that you just have to click on the link to be able to check if it is set to open in a new tab or not, whereas in the development version more clicks are required.
Comparing the two versions:
WordPress 6.2.2: simple, good using experience
Wordpress.new.tab.webm
WordPress 6.3 beta3-56182: too many clicks, bad user experience
Wordpress.beta.new.tab.webm
