When inserting a block using the OffCanvasEditor component in the Navigation block, a Link UI is opened in the sidebar so that users can select the correct link:

What is your proposed solution?

We want to retire the OffCanvasEditor component and use the List View in both places, but that would mean modifying the List View to allow the same behaviour as above. There is more discussion on this here: #48072
