Issue Overview Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  1. No published posts in Posts
  2. Add Gutenberg block 'Latest Posts'
  3. Block UI keeps spinning, indicating something should happen

Expected Behavior

should replacing spinning with "no recent posts found" or similar
