What problem does this address?

By default, the archive title includes a prefix describing the type of archive page being shown, like "Category: Markup" and "Author: themedemos". One of the most common support requests I get is how to hide the prefix of the archive title (like this one, from yesterday), which currently has to be done with CSS (if the markup structure allows for it) or by creating a child theme that hooks into the get_the_archive_title_prefix filter.

What is your proposed solution?

It might be useful for the Archive Title block to include a checkbox for hiding the prefix.
