Text Mode reverts post to previously saved value on auto-save #2978

Issue Overview
Anything you type in text mode appears to be removed as soon as autosave kicks in.
Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)
- Write a new post in Gutenberg
- Switch to text mode
- Type in a bunch of stuff
- Wait for autosave to kick in
Expected Behavior
Content was saved
Current Behavior
Content gets eaten, and it appears the post isn't saved at all — no "Saved" indicator.
