Dynamic PA: do I need all PA/speed pairs? #9610

Yes it would but would have less data points to interpolate with. If you’re printing at those flow rates, velocities and accelerations there would be no difference and you’d save quite a bit of time :) the calibration guide is set that way to give you flexibility to vary the print conditions without needing to redo calibration tests. but it all will also depend on how much variance you get in your results too :) |

@igiannakas
I am calibrating the dynamic PA and I realised that inputting a plain set of speeds and accelerations will print many combinations I never use:
acceleration:
1500 on bridges, 2000 top layer, 3000 outer perimeters, 5000 inner perimeters. 10 000 used for infill is above the IS recommendation so I omit it.
Speed:
50 first layer and bridges, 105 first layer, 177-191 (depending on line width) for everything else, since it's the max 14 mm3/s allow me.
The outer perimeters, the infill and the top layer might get slowed down when the layer time shortens, but not the outer perimeters.
It seems more efficient to print only the combinations:
which is 9 instead of 16.
Would the dynamic PA still work?
