Describe the bug
When I click the 'Check for Updates' button, the following error occurs:

An error occurred while checking for updates: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

Note: The original report was in Japanese and has been translated to English, so the exact wording of the error message might differ slightly depending on the system language, but the core issue is the inability to establish a secure connection for the update check.

This error did not occur when using version 3.7.3.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Right-click the QuickLook icon in the notification area.
2. Click on 'Check for Updates'.
3. See error.

Expected behavior
The application should successfully check for updates and notify the user whether an update is available or not, without any SSL/TLS errors.
