Description

This should improve performance on systems that are CPU-starved (likely because they have a CPU-intensive game running).

Sunshine will now promote itself to high priority class when a client is connected and streaming, so SunshineSvc no longer spawns it at above normal priority class. It will also reduce the timer interval to 1 ms (as NvStreamer does) and enable DWM MMCSS.

In addition, the following threads will be promoted to higher priority:

  • Video capture (critical)
  • Video encoding (high)
  • Video send (high)
  • Audio capture (critical)
  • Audio encoding (high)
  • Audio send (high)
  • Control thread (critical)

I didn't implement the new platform-specific callbacks for Mac and Linux but it should be easy for someone to do so.
