This is a thread to discuss the possibility of replacing our current default theme.

Creative decisions naturally bring strong opinions, but with those opinions should also come good arguments.

Some points to focus on:

1. Should this be the new default theme
2. What major problems need to be fixed with this theme
3. Should this new theme be staged for 1.2, 2.0, etc.
4. What to call this theme (e.g. "Noir", etc)
5. What to call the old theme (e.g. "Vesa", etc)
