Can I specify an image array as input and draw how the same image would look like after a lens, or any other imaging system.

I am building an imaging system and want to check what lenses would perform better, whether I need Plano-convex lenses or achromats and what sizes.

In principle, it could be achieved by raytracing N traces from each cell of the object space.
