@Siumauricio

Hey everyone,

Following the great response to our template bounty initiative, we're expanding the opportunity for you to directly impact Dokploy's development! We're now opening up bounties for core features that will enhance Dokploy's functionality and make it an even more powerful tool for everyone.

Just like with Templates, we're using Algora to manage these bounties. This is your chance to get the features you need built faster, or to contribute and earn rewards for your expertise!

How You Can Propose or Fund a Feature:

If there's a core feature you really need in Dokploy—whether it's a new integration, an essential enhancement, Bug Fix, or a performance improvement—you can propose it for a bounty.

To do this, simply:

  1. Create a new GitHub Issue detailing the feature.
  2. In a comment on that issue, type /bounty $AMOUNT. Algora will automatically pick it up and create the bounty.

For Feature Bounty Creators:

It's crucial that any proposed feature aligns with Dokploy's core philosophy and existing workflow. We're looking for additions that feel natural and enhance the overall user experience.

To ensure the best outcomes and a smooth integration, please make sure your feature requests are as clear as possible:

  • Provide detailed specifications: Clearly describe what the feature should do, how it should behave, and its expected impact.
  • Include use cases: Explain why this feature is important and how it will benefit users.
  • Offer any relevant context or documentation: The more information you provide, the easier it will be for contributors to understand and implement.

Great examples of well-aligned feature proposals include:

  • Ability to roll back service deployments (#319): This perfectly fits Dokploy's focus on reliable deployments and managing services. Being able to revert to a previous working version is a critical need.
  • Support for more backup storage solutions (#416): Integrating with tools like Rclone to support FTP, SFTP, Google Drive, etc., for backups directly enhances Dokploy's utility as a comprehensive platform.

This initiative will help us more to create faster features/bug fixes or improvements, making Dokploy even more powerful and easy to use. Plus, it provides a great motivation for contributors – free money! 🤑

I start myself putting bounty on this issue (#416)!
