  • Live streaming is here, and it's only getting bigger. From Super Bowl LX to the Olympics, streaming services are handling massive spikes in live viewership, creating both complexity and opportunity. To capture these high-value moments, our industry needs tools and infrastructure that can deliver at scale. We’re proud to collaborate with IAB Tech Lab alongside Amazon Ads, NBCUniversal, and FreeWheel to help shape the Live Event Ad Playbook—a new set of proposed standards and APIs designed to bring greater transparency, speed, and reliability to live event monetization. “The goal of this effort is to tame the chaos with standards and make every streaming impression opportunity biddable and addressable by buyers,” said Catherine Cho, lead product manager at Index.  Live is one of the most promising and demanding frontiers in programmatic.
