In just three weeks, WordCamp US will bring us back together in Portland. In my short time here, some of the most impactful moments I’ve had in this project started face-to-face, at WordCamps, speaking to the community, and getting to know you: the hallway talks, the spontaneous mentorship, the spark of a new idea. These moments remind me why I continue to believe so deeply in the power of open source and the people who make it thrive. I see the same inspiration and desire to build something greater from fresh faces to those who have been involved with WordPress for years. I can't wait to see you all again at WCUS.
