  • DevDrops – Week 4: Serverless Architecture This week, we're exploring a powerful modern backend concept — Serverless Architecture ☁️ Despite the name, servers do exist — but with serverless, developers no longer need to manage them directly. You write the code; the cloud provider takes care of provisioning, scaling, and infrastructure. 📌 Why Serverless? • Focus on business logic, not servers • Automatic scaling • Pay-as-you-go model • Faster deployment cycles 📌 Resources: • AWS (Amazon Web Services): What is Serverless?: aws.amazon.com/serverless/ AWS Lambda Documentation: https://lnkd.in/d8Tq4rRU (The core FaaS offering) Serverless Architectures with AWS: https://lnkd.in/gBYaufWz • Google Cloud: What is Serverless Architecture?: https://lnkd.in/ghEtJTXG Google Cloud Functions: https://lnkd.in/gARUFEZW • Microsoft Azure: Introduction to Azure Serverless: https://lnkd.in/e4bJ9-cy Azure Functions Documentation: https://lnkd.in/gFdrBPa5 Content Credits: Rajeev Kumar Stay tuned as we continue breaking down dev concepts, one drop at a time!

  • DevDrops – Week 3: CI/CD Pipelines This week, we're simplifying one of the most powerful tools in modern software development: CI/CD. 📍Continuous Integration (CI): Automatically tests and merges your code whenever changes are pushed — helping catch issues early and keep the codebase clean. 📍Continuous Deployment/Delivery (CD): Automatically delivers your code to production or staging after it passes all checks — enabling faster, more reliable releases. 📍Why CI/CD? • Faster dev cycles • Fewer production bugs • Automated, repeatable workflow 📍 Resources: https://lnkd.in/gZhXAXif https://lnkd.in/eP36VUb https://lnkd.in/eDDyAi7 https://lnkd.in/g-N46gv8 Whether you're a solo dev or part of a team, CI/CD ensures smoother and safer shipping Content credits: Harshit K. • DevDrops – Week 2: ViewModel in Android This week, we're focusing on an essential concept in Android development — the ViewModel 🧠 A ViewModel is designed to store and manage UI-related data in a lifecycle-aware way. It ensures your app's data remains intact across configuration changes like screen rotations — improving both stability and performance. 📌 Why ViewModel? • Lifecycle-aware data handling • Prevention of memory leaks • Clean separation of UI logic and data Learn more: 📍YouTube (Philip Lackner – ViewModel in Compose): https://lnkd.in/gAPBzQJd 📍Official Docs: https://lnkd.in/g2Z4u52 We’re simplifying core dev concepts every week — stay tuned for more!
