A good idea came up from the sales team the other day. One of those “this could actually solve a real customer problem” moments. In the past, we might have added it to the backlog and hoped it got resourced eventually. But let’s be honest, that is how momentum gets lost. This time, we tried something different. We spun up a lightweight MVP using Base44 No design sprints. No full-stack dev cycles. Just a scrappy, working version that let us test the flow with real users. The goal was simple: see if it delivers value before we commit internal resources. So far, we are seeing positive signals. I’ve been building out a custom leadership development platform using Base44, and the experience has been a game-changer. The goal was to create a centralized space for team members to access self-guided leadership courses, take a custom Emotional Intelligence (EQ) assessment, track progress, and engage in reflective coaching—all under one roof. What started as an idea for a simple EQ assessment quickly grew into a full-featured tool with auto-scoring logic, personalized feedback, email summaries, and even downloadable reflection worksheets. Base44 allowed me to bring all of this to life without needing a developer or third-party integrations. I’ve also begun prototyping a coaching tracker and interactive journal features where users can record weekly reflections, receive prompts, and managers can leave notes or encouragement. What impressed me most is the ability to scale fast, iterate quickly, and build tools that feel deeply customized to our culture and goals.
