Challenge

WTTJ’s production team is built for volume and storytelling. Each month, they deliver hundreds of employer videos featuring real employees, custom shoots, and immersive workplace narratives. But as demand grew, so did the friction behind the scenes.

Previously, the team relied on YouTube to publish all content before being bogged down by these issues:

  • Uploads were manual, repetitive, and capped.
  • YouTube’s API proved unstable to meet the volume and demand of their team.
  • Constant removal of content due to unclear flagging threatened their entire video channel.
  • GDPR compliance (like access expiration or media deletion) was near-impossible to enforce.

The model was simply not keeping up with the scale of the team’s video output. They needed a smarter, safer, and more scalable video publishing solution.

“We were spending up to half a day per editor just uploading…it blocked us from focusing on what really matters: delivering value to our clients.”
— Laura Dellapasqua, Production Manager, Welcome to the Jungle

Solution

Led by Sylvain and current Production Manager Laura Dellapasqua, WTTJ’s team evaluated and adopted Vimeo for its robust automation and dynamic integration features that made publishing videos a breeze. Within days of implementation, they began seeing results.

Vimeo stood out for:

  • An open API powering a platform that enables seamless, automated publishing
  • Granular access controls and data retention tools that meet GDPR standards
  • Branded, client-facing Showcases that feel clean, professional, and customizable

The final result gave Sylvain’s team a zero-friction process to manage the high volume of videos needing to be published.

WTTJ’s team manages every content project, whether video or photo, directly within Monday.com. Each project is tracked as a task, and once a final video is ready, they simply click the "Sync to Vimeo" button.

That single click sets off a fully automated workflow built by the WTTJ team:

  • Pulls the final video from Dropbox via Vimeo’s native integration
  • Uploads it to Vimeo automatically
  • Applies metadata, including the title, description, tags, and privacy settings
  • Auto-generates a password-protected Showcase, ready for the client

The client receives a polished link for reviewing and approving the video. If updates are needed, the team follows the same streamlined process—uploading a new version from Dropbox, which replaces the original in the same Showcase. Everything stays organized, up to date, and professional.

Vimeo enabled us to finally streamline our production and delivery workflows...Instead of focusing on manual tasks, our team now doubles down on creativity and client experience.
— Laura Dellapasqua, Production Manager, Welcome to the Jungle

Outcome

With Vimeo fully integrated, WTTJ now uploads and delivers 700-1,000+ videos per month without breaking a sweat. What once took 4–6 hours per batch now takes just 30 minutes.

  • >90% time savings on publishing workflows
  • 100% GDPR compliance via access expiration and media deletion policies
  • Improved client experience with password-protected playlists, intuitive review flows, and auto-replace functionality
  • Creative focus restored—producers now prioritize briefs, talent coordination, and content quality

The impact reaches beyond the production team. Client-facing colleagues now collaborate easily via Vimeo, and even non-technical teammates are confident using the platform. “Everyone knows what Vimeo is now,” says Laura, “especially during onboarding.”

And with new branding and video interactivity features on the horizon, WTTJ sees Vimeo as a flexible partner for the future and not just a fixed tool.

"Vimeo is more than a hosting platform for us. It’s a critical part of our production infrastructure,"
— Sylvain Leblanc, Production Delivery Director, Welcome to the Jungle
