Hi community,
As some of you may have noticed, I've recently transferred the rathole repository from my personal account to rathole-org. This marks a step toward a more community-driven future for the project.
rathole started back in 2021 while I was still in uni. I never anticipated the welcome and adoption it received. I'm always proud of it.
That said, life changes and priority shifts. With a demanding full time job, I no longer have time to actively maintain the project.
Recently, @sjtrny reached out about the status of the project, and I think it's time to pass the torch for the best of everyone. So I invited @fernvenue and @sjtrny to become maintainers of rathole given their past involvement in the community. They kindly agreed to help out.
Regarding the code itself, I still have a few ideas for improvement
I think 1 should solve the stability issue faced by some users and NAT setup. 2 and 3 should boost the throughout and latency, make rathole a more balanced setup for NAT traversal.
I'm optimistic the community will keep moving the project forward, and I'm excited to see where it goes next.
Thanks again for being part of this journey.
